A note about the calendar

I've updated the calendar again, and I think we're all set for school to start! I'm so excited and I hope your children are, too.

Our preschool calendar shows sight words and nursery rhymes that we've mapped out for each week. PLEASE, do not worry about the sight words. I realize that we have kids of all levels in our class, and I have included them for any parent that may feel their child is ready to work on these kindergarten readiness skills. A tip might be to post them somewhere in the house each week and just point them out to your child. Remember that we'll be working on basic letter and number recognition, throughout the year, and I certainly do not expect most preschoolers to know sight words right away. These are posted on the calendar mostly for myself, but also for anyone that may feel their child is ready for a little practice at home :).
